Elise is a self-taught artist and work mainly in acrylic. Her favourite subject matter is landscapes and flowers done in bold bright colours. Occasionally she will paint figures. She only use top quality materials for her paintings. All her canvasses are custom made by a local artisan. Her aspiration is to deliver beautiful art. She was born in King Williams Town in 1973 and grew up in Pietersburg. After matriculating, she went on to become a teacher. She and her husband, Wessel and their two boys reside in Cape Town, South Africa.
